What began as a small support group for military spouses in DuPont, Washington, following the deployment of the 5-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, has grown into a nationwide movement honoring the service and sacrifice of the American military through active remembrance.
Co-founded by Lisa Hallett, who lost her husband CPT John Hallett in 2009 during deployment, wear blue: run to remember now connects thousands of runners, walkers, and volunteers across 30 Community Runs nationwide. Together, they remember, honor, and belong.
During the 2025 Marine Corps Marathon, wear blue will host one of its largest Tribute Miles, honoring 275 fallen heroes with Faces of the Fallen posters, flags held high, and a community united in remembrance.
This is your opportunity to capture those moments of courage, love, and legacy.
