ear blue Army Ten Miler runners,

Thank you for choosing to wear blue this weekend at the Army's flagship race, the Army Ten Miler. For the third consecutive year with the incredibly generous support of AUSA, wear blue is pleased to continue the For the Fighting Army Ten-Miler program! AUSA is making it possible for 5 active duty participants to experience the excitement of the Army Ten-Miler set against the backdrop of our Nation's capitol. Please visit https://www.ausa.org to learn more about the Association of the United States Army.

We invite each of you to attend our following race weekend events.

  • Packet pickup for the Army Ten Miler Expo is on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 at the DC Armory. General packet pickup hours are from 10am - 6pm and for Active Duty Personnel the doors open at 8:30am. Please visit our wear blue booth, #144, to purchase any of our race day gear.

  • Saturday, October 12, please join us at 8am at the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall for a short Shake Out Run. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet our For the Fighting athletes and socialize with other wear blue runners.

  • Race morning, Sunday, October 13, please join us at 7am just inside Runner's Access Control Point for our pre-race Circle of Remembrance. Look for our wear blue signage, and please visit our Facebook Event page to receive up to date information at: https://www.facebook.com/events/479023632692106/

If you are local to the DC area, we are still in need of volunteers for the Marine Corps Marathon wear blue Mile. On October 27, wear blue will line Haines Point at mile 12 of the course with Faces of the Fallen posters and American flags. To make this happen, we need 300 volunteers. Share with your friends, families, and coworkers about this fantastic volunteer opportunity. It will be a morning of honor and respect that you won't forget. To register to hold a flag, fill out the online form so we can keep you updated on race day details: http://www.wearblueruntoremember.org/marine-corps-marathon/

Run Strong!

For the fallen. For the fighting. For the families.
