The Gold Star Race Program provides these Gold Star family members marathon selection and access, as well as the virtual training and support necessary to complete a wear blue endurance running event. Application to the Gold Star Race Program is open to someone who has lost a loved one as a result of a service-related injury or illness while serving in the US military.

Gold Star Youth Mentorship

The wear blue Gold Star Youth Mentorship Program is a community impact program, pairing active duty military with children of fallen service members in a multi-week run mentorship program.  This program in the Fairchild Air Force Base, WA, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, Fort Bragg, NC, Joint Base San Antonio, TX and Fort Campbell, KY communities, will encompass goal setting, story telling, and physical training. The program will close with a meaningful Memorial Day run, followed by a Heroes' Hike, the following weekend, celebrating the children's honored hero, as well as their personal triumph over adversity. Memorial Day will culminate their two months of training, as the young athletes and their mentors lead the local wear blue remembrance run.
