About the Event: Half Ironman event with approximately 2,300 athletes participating across swim, bike, and run disciplines.
wear blue: run to remember Involvement: Since 2014, wear blue has staffed one of the most spirited aid stations along the bike course, displaying tribute posters and welcoming athletes with the support of 30–40 volunteers, including many active-duty service members. Our involvement honors the memory of MAJ Michael Donahue and allows wear blue to connect with local athletes and the Augusta community. The Ironman Foundation grant helps fund this program and our other community initiatives.
