13 May 2023

0830 - Warm up led by the President's Council for Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition

0900 - Circle of Remembrance

Beginning with the National Anthem and a Circle of Remembrance, we will speak the names of our nation's fallen service members, with a special focus on our Vietnam heroes. This moving tribute is an opportunity for participants to speak the name of friends and loved ones.

We will then step off on a self-paced run or walk around the National Mall to highlight our mission, our commitment to one another, and our dedication to honor the fallen. This ‘Saturday Run’  will begin with steps through our wear blue Tribute Mile, highlighting the faces of hundreds of Vietnam-era casualties. We will become a living memorial.

During the three day event, our country will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the conclusion of the Vietnam War. This is an opportunity for our Nation to thank and honor Vietnam Veterans and their families and highlight the services of our Armed Forces.
