Meet Chris

My name is Chris Walsh. I am an American racing car driver, Active Duty Service member, prior Team USA bobsled athlete, wear blue Gold Star youth mentor, and most importantly a husband and father.  I started my racing career in a very grass roots manner with minimal support, minimal budget and a huge dream.  I eventually was able to fight my way onto the professional scene and make my pro debut in SRO's TC America series, where I took a podium finish.  I am passionate, driven and I wish to take my racing career to IMSA and beyond; in an effort to compete in the highest level of motorsports.

I come from a military family, with both of my parents serving in the US Air Force.  From a young age, I had a calling to serve and I am currently serving as an Air Force Special Tactics Officer station in Florida.  My passion in life is and always has been racing in any form, from my start in motorsports as a superbike racer to bobsled racing and now my transition into automobile racing. I love everything about it.

I am the first Active duty military driver to race sports cars professionally. I believe I have the talent and skill to race for podiums every time I get on track. More importantly, I believe it is important that I use this platform to help bring awareness and support to causes that are vital to myself and the American way of life.  In this vein, I am happy to be using this season to highlight and support wear blue: run to remember.  I was fortunate to volunteer for them for over two years as a mentor in their Gold Star Youth Mentorship Program and now I hope we can create an even bigger impact for the families who have sacrificed so much.
